Problem:

Refine
your
independent
series
problem
statement,
research
3‐4
artists
and
photographers,

and
create
a
visual
proposal
that
will
illustrate
how
you
will
extend
and
refine
the
ideas
you
have
for

your
final
two
works.




Please include the following in your proposal:

-One example of your most successful work from your independent series so far.
-A written statement of what you feel could be improved, extended upon, or refined for your next two
works, (these could be technical, compositional, conceptual, and/or presentation adjustments)
-4 or more artist/photographer examples with artist name, titles, and dates, (see lists below)
- Sketches/illustrations of ideas for two new works, (think about these as you research!)

This proposal may be completed in the form of a brief presentation/lecture on the computer, in your
sketchbook, or both!
