Sodexo Health Care Services Dietetic Internship (September 2012-present) Clinical Rotations-Holy Spirit Hospital Camp Hill, PA- Primary Site-800 hours. Performed thorough reviews of medical records and completed nutritional assessments for patients with various medical complications across the lifespan including Diabetes, Cardiac, GI, Pediatrics, Maternal, Oncology, Pulmonary, Renal, Enteral and Parenteral Nutrition. Conducted diet instruction and menu planning with patients and family members. Provided nutritional educational presentations demonstrating verbal and written communication skills to target audiences. Participated in Touch of Sugar program for diabetes at Wegmans. Participated in Create Your Weight program for overweight adults at Giant. Provided assistance to the lead Chef at Channel Foods Rescue with cooking demos for mentally challenged kids. Food and Nutrition, Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill, PA (May 2011-April 2012) Perform meal rounds and tray assessments to ensure patient satisfaction with food service of hospital and aid in increasing Press Ganey scores. Projects
Designed Nutrition Education Material for the Prevention of Osteoporosis for South Asian Women as a Masters Project. Final residence project at the College of Home Economics, Lahore; planned menus for a group of young women for one month according to their dietary needs and physical activities. Project also included smart home management strategy planning, designing of the interior of a house and implementation of the strategies and menus for an entire month.
