Apples on the Tree

Aleena and Amir have a small garden in their house where they have an apple tree.It has a lot of apples. Delicious red apples! Last sunday was a nice sunny day and the apples were ripe and ready to be plucked. Papa told us he would do it in the afternoon after lunch, otherwise the apples would get spoiled. But after lunch he started reading a book under the tree and soon dozed off. He is usually very tired after the hectic week and wants to rest on Fridays. So they thought not to disturb him and do the job themselves. Amir , got a ladder from the backyard and I got the basket. Our little puppy, Raja, helped us hold the ladder. And they plucked all the apples. When papa got up he was very surprised to see that they had finished the job themselves, without getting hurt.
