June Holiday Assignment 1. You will work in groups of 4 6 to complete your June Holiday Assignment.

. Your assignment will consist of completing at least 4 essay responses for the themes assigned to your groups. 2. As there will be a halt to teacher-written essay responses from Term 3 onwards, the onus is on your group to produce an essay of high quality, as these would be the essays your cohort mates will depend upon during your revision. If all takes a conscious effort to write good essays, it will be mutually beneficial for the entire cohort. 3. My task would be facilitating the process of producing a historical masterpiece! I will review the essay and comment on areas for improvement. Once the essay is of acceptable quality, the essay will be open for access of all those within the cohort. All 75 of them. 4. The onus is on your group members to decide on the allocation of work and responsibility in completing the assigned questions. Suggested Approach: a. For each essay, there are 7 components: 1 FACES, 1 Intro, 5 Content Paragraphs and 1 Judgemental Conclusion. b. My recommendation would be that all will work together for the FACES, Introductory Paragraph and Judgemental Conclusion. c. The Content Paragraphs will be divided amongst the different members in the team. This is so that when comments are given, it will be more directed to the person who wrote it. d. All must ensure that their content paragraphs are aligned to the stand that has been set together as a group. 5. To access the questions, log onto col@c. The Wikis should be accessible on the front page. Click on the intended topic to cover and then you will see this on your screen.

6. To make changes click edit and type away! 7. For groups who have decided to assign 1 content paragraph to each student, you are recommended to indicate the author of the paragraph.

8. Deadline for submission of the 4 essays would be on the 23rd of June, 23:55. Or else Please note that these essays will be used during lectures and tutorials conducted during the Intensive Revision Period in Term 3.
