HOT CHAMBER AND COLD CHAMBER In smelting processes, there are several ways to obtain parts from which

the hot chamber and cold chamber are machines that can be obtained. Metals can be melted in the hot chamber are low melting point such as zinc, tin and lead, as they are the metals used in these machines. In this method, the metal is forced to enter into the mold and maintaining pressure during solidification, either by an air piston or compression piston. In the hot chamber molten metal is next to the injection system, the metal falls by gravity and then the plunger injects it with a pressure of 35 MPa. In the cold chamber to melt metals is aluminum, magnesium, copper alloys, among others. This method involves heating the metal in a furnace and transport assistant to fill a reservoir in the cavity of the machine so that the metal is injected under pressure horizontally. After solidification are extracted hearts and opens the womb to remove the piece. CONCLUSION The size of the piece can be precisely controlled and can only be required machining or sometimes small. Smelting process can produce very large parts Lost parts are few. The process eliminates machining operations. One of the disadvantages of the smelting of this type is the high cost of equipment. Smelting parts in womb alloys have been limited to low melting point
