Introduction Technology is the most powerful thing that ever happened to our world. Why? Its because we always bow down to it and we never give any attention to it. This mere statement triggers me to found out why all of the people get addicted to all the new technologies and new inventions thats been developing and upgrading in our time. But before we look for that answer there is a question that I want to ask you do you know what type of technology that we or others always invent and advancing it such as cars, household machines and a lot more. We may give a little attention to but we always idolized it. Know the answer? No? Robots may become a great help to us, but what will happen if robots become over us and start controlling. But before we answer that lets define the word robots. A Robot is the one Im referring to. Robotics is the branch of technology that deals with the design, construction, operation, and application of robots, as well as computer systems for their control, sensory feedback, and information processing. The field of robotics may be more practically defined as the study, design and use of robot systems formanufacturing (a top-level definition relying on the prior definition of robot). These technologies deal with automated machines that can take the place of humans in dangerous environments or manufacturing processes, or resemble humans in appearance, behavior, and/or cognition. Many of today's robots are inspired by nature contributing to the field of bio-inspired robotics. Robots have many types but in this study the researcher will be focusing in Industrial Robots, but first we need to settle on a definition of industrial robot. Industrial robot is defined by ISO as an automatically controlled, reprogrammable, multipurpose manipulator programmable in three or more axes. And also an industrial robot is designed to be a perfect and tireless worker. And an Industrial robot is a tool that is used in the

manufacturing environment to increase productivity. It can be used to do routine and tedious assembly line jobs, or it can perform jobs that might be hazardous to the human worker. The great example of an industrial robot is the one that replace the nuclear fuel rods n nuclear power plant. Typical applications of an industrial robots include welding, painting, assembly, pick and place (such as packaging, palletizing and SMT), product inspection, and testing; all

accomplished with high endurance, speed, and precision

1.1 Rationale for this Study The researcher chooses the topic regarding in industrial robots, because its interesting on how do people invent this machines and how do it works. And also the researcher wants to know how it takes just to make a simple industrial robot in our time. And also the researcher aims to share the research to those people who have the same interest like the researcher in terms of humanoid robots.

Though the main purpose why do people invent industrial robot is to change humans to the difficult and hazardous jobs that only a robot can do.

And also this research or studies show that, the advantages and disadvantages of the industrial robots in our era. In this matter they will be informed about this. People specially students and future researchers of this kind of topic will benefit on this because it will help them to think and also to get information easier and true facts. So thats why the researcher want to conduct this studies so the researcher and the other people can have more knowledge about my topic and to share its output and information gathered to make this study

1.2 Statement of the problem

Robots have replaced humans in the assistance of performing those repetitive and dangerous tasks which humans prefer not to do, or are unable to do due to size limitations, or even those such as in outer space or at the bottom of the sea where humans could not survive the extreme environments. There are concerns about the increasing use of robots and their role in society. Robots are blamed for rising unemployment as they replace workers in some functions. The use of robots in military combat raises ethical concerns. The possibility of robot autonomy and potential repercussions has been addressed in fiction and may be a realistic concern in the future. Another problem is that humans are now depending in robots, but what if this kind of scene wherein robots will replace human in all the jobs considering manufacturing and services companies will happen? Will it really give us help or will the nature of human wherein actively working will dissolve because were always depending in robots for the rest of our lives? What will happen to us?

1.3 Objectives

These studies shows how industrial robots are made, what are the other purpose why they create industrial robot, what are the advantages and disadvantages of the industrial robots, what are the possibilities that may happen if the robot keep replacing humans in their job and what will be the possible outcome if the industrial robots will be the one who will be doing the jobs that a human can do. These formulated questions will be answered in this study.

Students and future researchers may benefit this study for they can get real facts and information about industrial robot. This study also helps the students in the way that they can be aware to what may happen in the future if people or humans will still depend on robots.

The main objective of the researcher is help people to be aware if we still continue relying on robots and what will really happen if robots will take over a human job.

1.4 Method In making this research, the researcher selected an interesting and familiar topic where the researcher and the future researchers can familiarize with. In this study, the only way that the researcher collects information or data is by visiting different libraries near the Polytechnic University of the Philippines Quezon City campus or PUPQC and the use of the World Wide Web or the internet. The researchers use all the references that can be used like newspapers, reference book and journals Since the topic was not common to the country, the researcher didnt take the risk of using the method of surveying.

1.5 Structure of the research

The way the researcher presents the study was in technical way form.

The researcher will be focusing on presenting the data and information in a formal way. The researcher will have an advisor who will check the data that will be put in the study. The researcher will also have a proof reader to check the grammar and the word that will be used in the researcher.
