IT Road Map. for med units of Army was drawn in the year 2004 with the over alt aim to integrate all hosps on an info sharing network, consolidate all MIS needs of units and seamless data transfer by the year 2015, 2. Aconsiderable prog has been made in the form of provs of HW (PCs, Scanners, MFDS, VPS etc), NW Components and unit level software packages (HR Suit, Vastra, Kuber, QM, Arogaya etc), Adequate IT tg has been Conducted. Aholistic mid course assessment of the prog made so far by the DGMS (Army) has revealed a gloomy picture of actual utilization of the automation and has exposed large gaps which need to be addressed. The glaring contrasts which have emerged are enumerated below.
