Golf Format
I Players Each Club Team will consist of ten players, one Pro and 9 Amateurs. All amateurs must be members of their respective club and have a current USGA Handicap. All players must be at least 21 years of age. The method of selecting players for the team is left to the individual clubs, except all Interclub Officers and Board Members are automatically members of the team. In the event a club does not send a Pro, an amateur player may fill the Pros spot and play to his Handicap. That amateur will only be eligible for amateur prizes. If the Pro does not play a second time in the season the amateur taking the Pros place will play Scratch. If a Pro misses 2 events in a season the Board will consider removing the club from the roster. II. Format of Play Each club will divide its team into 5 Two Man Teams. The best Net score of the two man team is recorded. The five Two Man Team scores are then totaled for the Club Total. The Club with the best score wins the tournament. Three Clubs with the best scores are winners. Prize money is divided in the event of ties in the Club competition. In addition to the Club Team competition there will also be a two man team competition. The three (3) best scoring Two Man teams will be the winners. In the event of ties, a tie break will be used. Break ties in two man teams by comparing the score cards of each team 1st using holes 10 thru 18. The team with the best score wins the tie break. If the teams continue to be tied, compare holes 13 to 18, then 16-18, then 1 thru 9. The Maximum Handicap available is 20. A maximum of 18 strokes will be allowed. Amateurs with handicaps higher than 20 may play but will receive a maximum of 18 strokes. Tee Boxes: All teams and players will play from the middle tees, approximately 6,200 yards III Schedule of Tournaments and Qualifying for the Interclub Championship The yearly schedule consists of 10 tournaments. The winner of each of the nine tournaments qualifies for the Championship playoff to be held in June. Each monthly tournament pays Club points, 12 points to 1 point, based on how the clubs finish each tournament. The winner earns 12 points, last place earns 1 point. Ties in a tournament will combine places and split points earned. For
6

example: if 2 teams tie for 3rd place the teams will split 19 points, 9.5 points each. In the event an odd number of teams qualify for the Championship Tournament, the team with the highest point total thru May will also qualify for the Championship.

Event Purse Breakdown The total yearly Purse Breakdown is in two parts. 1. Ten Individual Monthly Tournaments are 75% of the total Purse 2. The Championship Tournament 25% of the total Purse The Championship Event The Championship tournament will be conducted the same as every single tournament event. The Championship tournament has a separate purse and will pay four teams. The qualifying teams will be paired together. A tie breaker will be determined and voted on at our first board meeting of the season. 1st Place 2nd Place 3rd Place 4th Place $1,200 $800 $500 $350

**Payout will be adjusted if we experience rainouts during the season How Championship Teams pay out their Winnings Each Interclub team normally consists of several players throughout the year. We suggest that any money collected from winning or placing in the Championship be used as a purse at your club, and that all players contributing to the clubs victory or the actual Championship victory share the winnings Rain Out: If all teams have completed 9 holes the tournament will be considered complete. Scoring will be based on 50% of their handicaps. If all teams complete more than 10 holes but less than 18 holes all teams will score their first 9 holes and the tournament will be considered complete. IV. Handicaps All players must have a current USGA handicap. Players handicaps will be based on the USGAs Slope System. In listing the members of its team, each Club will report the current Slope Index of each player to the host Pro. The Host Pro will use the USGA Slope Chart for his course to translate the Slope Index of
7

each player to a handicap to be used in the Interclub tournament at his course. All amateur players will receive 90% of their established handicap. No one will receive more than a 20 handicap. Each Club Pro is responsible for, and must attest to, the accuracy of each of his players Slope Index. Pros will play Scratch, no handicap.

V. Scoring The Host Club should prepare scorecards, one per two-man team, marked with each of their handicaps- 90% of their course handicap, maximum of 18 strokes. Play will be in foursomes and each 2-man team should keep the score of the other team. At the conclusion of the round scorecards must be signed and attested to by both 2-man teams. Signed scorecards should be turned into their club Pro. Club Scoring: Adding the scores of all 5 teams per club will be used to determine the Clubs team scores. 1st Place earns 12 Points 2nd Place earns 11 Points 3rd Place earns 10 points 4th Place earns 9 points 5th Place earns 8 points 6th Place earns 7 points 7th Place earns 6 points 8th Place earns 5 points 9th Place earns 4 points 10th Place earns 3 points 11th Place earns 2 points 12th Place earns 1 point

In the event a scorecard is lost the worst 2 man team score of the tournament +1 will be used. In the event of a missing man on a team, the single players score will count as the 2 man team score for the club. VI Rules USGA Rules as modified by any local rules announced by the Host Pro will govern play. Decisions made by the Host Pro in interpreting the rules will be final. VII Fees

Each amateur and Pro will pay an established fee for each event. The Pro or his designated agent will collect the money from the members of his team and make one full payment to the Host Pro prior to tee off time at each tournament. Each club agrees to and shall pay the hosting club for 10 players at every event. If a club does not pay by the day of the next tournament the team will not be allowed to play that tournament and will be terminated from Interclub. In the event a team does not send a Pro, the amateur filling the Pros spot will pay the same fee as the other amateurs and will compete for amateur prizes. The Prize schedule for the Pros will remain the same as usual. The Board of Directors will set the amount of fees for each year.

IX Prizes Prizes awarded to amateur members of winning teams for each tournament will be merchandise redeemable at their own Pro Shop. X Interclub Hole-in-One Rules and Procedures Amateurs and Professionals each have Hole-in-One money. The rules and procedures for both contests are the same. Interclub will add $12 to the Pro Pot and $108 to the Amateur pot after each Tournament. Funds come from entry fees at each tournament. Each Pot will be limited to $500. Once a Pot reaches $500, a new Pot is started. It is possible that several Pots exist for each group. At the end of each tournament all Holes-in-One will split 75% of the oldest Pot. XI Two Man Team Tie Breaker Compare the score cards of each team by using holes 10 thru 18. The team with the best score wins the Tie Break. If the Tie continues: Compare holes 13 thru 18, Then 16 thru 18, Then 1 thru 9
