Traditional Nis counceling of economists is being organised by Nis Associaion of Economists and Serbian Association of economists (which is leading

professional organisation of economists in Serbia). This year, Nis counceling of economists will be held on 26th and 27th of September in Ni, at University of Nis Faculty of Economics. Main subject of the conference will be: Improvement of competitiveness and reindustrialisation of serbian economy. It is planed and organisers have informal confirmation from Serbian Prime Minister, National Bank of Serbia Guvernor, Minister for Finance, Mayor of Nis, Univercity of Nis Rector, and many mayor economists, teroreticans and practicioners, domestic and foreign companies representatives, representatives of major banks and finacial institutions. It is expected that more than 200 people will attend this event. The event will be organised under he patronate of City of Nis and Mayors Office for local economic development will organisationaly and technicaly support organisation of this event. This counceling will last two days where first day will be plenary round table with different teoretical and policy papers and speeches and secon day will be organised as business forum with four main panels: Panel 1 Role od state and local governments i priorities in improving competitiveness, Panel 2 Monetary model and finacial sector in function of iompetitivenes improvement, Panel 3 Real Sector current situation and perspectives for reindustrialisation, Panel 4 New investors and business practice experiences, challenges i restrictions.
