Equipment/Resources required: Range of soft balls for kicking Marker cones Whistle Soccer goal Lesson Structure: Introduction: Start by playing form a group. Players run around in random directions avoiding body contact with other players. I will call out a number and players form groups of that size. Start with slow jogging. For the first few calls having practice numbers so students can get the gist of the game. If students are finding it too easy changing the locomotion e.g. short bursts of running, hopping and fast waking.

Main component of lesson: Break group up into two teams. Team one fielding Team two kicking Kicking team has one person kicking at a time. The bowler bowls the ball and kicker kicks it. The kicker then runs to the set of markers as many times as possible before the bowler bowls the ball into the soccer goals. If the ball is caught 3 times then the two teams swap over. Each student taking turns in being fielders, bowlers and goalies! Conclusion: Untie the knot! Two groups work against each other to attempt keeping the bonds between each other whilst untangling their hands. If hands let go disqualified!! Before packing up letting the children know we will have another sports lesson during the week cause we missed our grade 5 sports. Monitoring of Student Learning: Participation and engagement throughout both games.
