Defective tools shall be removed from service and repaired or disposed. 2. Train the personnel on how to handle and operate the equipments or tools properly. 3. Provide adequate shoring and bracing system to protect the wall from collapsing.Wall shall be sloped when excavating in an open area. 4.Provide hard barricades around the excavation site and bar any unwanted personnel, provide ladder for access in and out of the excavation. Ladder shall be extended min.1m. above ground level.Provide handrail at least on one side of the ladder. 5. Daily house keeping shall be done. 6. Conduct regular check of equipments to maintain good operating condition and avoid breakdown during operation. 7. Barricades the excavation site.
