I understand that not everyone is able to help due to other responsibilities. If you would like to offer another way to assist the class, let me know. If you are available to help, please fill out the information below and return this sheet with your child within the next week so we can create a volunteer schedule. 2. Please check the days that you are available. Indicate a block of time that you could come. Please do not just write down one specific time (ex. Thursdays at 1:00). In the classroom, I use volunteers for many different things. Please check below if you are interested in helping in that way. I will guide you in any areas that you are not sure how to lead, such as reading groups. I would enjoy (check all that apply) helping students at math centers during group activities helping with hands-on engineering and science projects helping during art activities helping during theater activities leading a group of students during reading groups (I will give you directions). filing student paperwork helping to prepare instructional materials (this may include laminating, cutting, assembling kits, etc.) making copies on the copy machines helping to decorate the classroom and bulletin boards helping with the class website helping to organize field trips, special events, and/or class fundraisers coordinating parent volunteers, and helping with all of the above, as the Room Parent! 4.
