    L-3 Insights Clip-On Night Vision Device-Thermal (CNVD-T) is a handheld or weapon-mounted thermal weapon sight. The thermal imaging capability of the CNVD-T allows for observation and target identification under adverse conditions including light rain, smoke, light snow, and low light to total darkness. The CNVD-T incorporates a reticle used for weapon aiming.
