Ms. Grandison taught a lesson on personal narratives. The lesson began with a description of what it is.The 4 elements were discussed. A story was done together.Students were then given a passage to higlight the 4 elements. These were discussed at their tables. A student sample was on the board and students were asked to fill in a chart of star or stairs, good points of things that needed to be improved.. Finally they filled out a chart of their own ideas for their personal narrative using some ideas in boxes. There was evidence of behavior systems in place.
