Case Narrative
The results included in this report have been reviewed for compliance with STL's Quality
Assurance/Quality Control (Q4/QC) plan. ‘The test results shown in this report meet all equirements of
NELAC and any exceptions arc noted below
Dilution factors and footnotes have been provided to assist in the interpretation of the results. Each
sample was analyzed to achieve the lowest possible reporting limit within the constraints of the method.
STI utilizes USEPA approved methods in all analytical work. The samples presented inthis report were
analyzed for the parameters listed on the analytical methods summary page in accordance with the
‘methods indicated. A summary of quality control parameters is provided below.

Quality Control Summary for Lot D5C020283
‘Sample Receiving
> STL Denver received six aqueous samples under chai of custody on March 2, 2005,
> The cooler temperature at receipt was acceptable at 2.6°C.
> All sample containers were received intact.
Holding Times
> All analyses was performed within the prescribed holding times.
‘Total Metals Analysis, Method SW846 6010B
> No anomalies were noted.
‘Total Metals Analysis, Methods SW846 6020
> The percent recovery for the Selenium MS and/or MSD performed on sample D5C020283-002 was
above established control limits. Since the Laboratory Control Sample was in control, the data was
accepted and the anomalies considered a result of matrix interference.
® The percent recoveries and RPD for the Arsenic MS and MSD performed on sample D5C020283-
(002 could not be evaluated because the concentration of arsenic in the parent sample was greater than
four times the spike amount.
> No other anomalies were noted,
General Chemistry
> No anomalies were noted. All batch QC was in control,
