Job Background/context: Equities electronic trading technology team is responsible for development, main tenance, testing and support of high performance, distributed, real time, multi-threaded, mission -critical systems used in global markets. Some of the products are * Global Market Data Systems * Direct Market Access systems to global Exchanges/ECNs/Dark Pools/Broker Dealer s * Smart Order Routing (best execution) * Citi owned ECN (Flow) * Citi supported Dark Pool (Level ATS) * Electronic market making * Internal crossing (Citi Match) Key Responsibilities: * Programming in C++ on Windows/Linux. Candidate is expected to demonstrate prof icient level of skill in C++ on Windows/Linux. Candidate must have serious interest in programmi ng and software development * Development, enhancement, testing and support of high performance, distributed , real time, multi-threaded, mission-critical systems written in C++ * Latency monitoring, code profiling and performance optimisation. * Ability to work in high pressure environment, in multiple projects, and delive r under tight deadlines * Ability and attitude to work in global teams. * Flexible in timings and work schedule to meet business requirements. * Sense of integrity and ownership.
