the rock. The bedrock becomes saturated with water at a certain level, and dissolving continues as the water moves sideways along bedding planes and joints in the rock itself. The conduits formed from the acidic water enlarge and create small caverns. The top of the cavern slowly gets thinner and thinner and eventually the roof of the cavern collapses. We are then left with a large hole in the rock. This is then subject to further weathering and then the land becomes two stacks of rock once again. After this step, the process begins once again and the rock moves again creating the same taller and thinner landscape. This is the description of KARST landscape formation.
