Learning Content Teachers know the content they teach

Sarah always made sure she knew and understood the content, processes and skills relevant to the educational levels and areas of learning in which she taught. She demonstrated knowledge of the Australian Curriculum in her planning and also knowledge of a range of teaching methods, resources and assessment techniques to support collaborative learning. Sarah demonstrated conceptual knowledge, confidence and personal skills related to literacy, numeracy and information communication technologies.
