The t hree member band includes Lady Rose, (also known as Lisa Allison), rapper Serial Killer, and the Angel of Death. A vocalist and songwriter, Lisa Sharon Allison Downie, is the founder of Jesus Red Bear Records and Lady Rose 6. She describe s Lady Rose 6 as a band that infuses elements of soul, funk, hiphop, jazz and go go, in their original compositions.Their dance style also includes an inspiring mixture of soul, funk, ballet, martial arts and Native American dance style. Their first single, Girl Named Rose, the first song of their album, The First Re surrection, was officially released in 2007. All of the tracks on the debut albu m are based on true life stories. The album includes the first song about a chi ld prostitute, a song about being the other baby's mama, a song about the trial s and tribulations of a female hustler and other testimonies. Lady Rose 6 expres ses themselves in lyrics, beats, and vocal arrangements that will leave any audi ence wishing for more. Lisa Allison, who also produces the group's music, says she is in the middle of writing the lyrics and music for the second upcoming album, "Serial Killer: The Inheritance". Three singles from "The Inheritance": "He Died Like A Man", "Cra ckhead 101", and "Crimes Against The People" were already released between 2011 and 2013. Lady Rose, the lead singer of Lady Rose 6, was originally born Lisa Sharon Allison in New York City to Cherokee parents. Lady Rose now hails from the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area by way of Baltimore City, where she spent 10 years in the infamous projects called "Murder Homes". Because her father was a career soldier in the U.S. Army Special Forces, Green B erets, as a child and teenager Lady Rose lived and traveled all over the east co ast the midwest, the deep south and even Europe. She attended ballet school 3 y ears in Germany as a toddler. Most of her elementary and middle school years we re spent in North Carolina with third grade being spent in New York City. Lady R ose spent 3 years of high school in Texas, graduating Valedictorian of her clas s. She went on to spend three years on a partial scholarship at the Massachusett s Institute of Technology in Cambridge. Her major was math, but Lady Rose's fir st love has always been music and dance. Serial Killer is the hard-core rapper of Lady Rose 6 and prefers to remain anony mous.The last permanent member, we all know as A. Death., or the Angel of Death. Embedded in the act called Lady Rose 6 are their spiritual beliefs, including th e elevation of the mentality and the inner spirit.
