Time Counts:

Big D just called. He said that I need to go to work immediately; something about my future organization. Justin sarcastically told his wife. Oh! Justin, dont be late, remember what Big D said last time; if you are late again he will fire you. You know we cant afford that, especially with the baby on the way. Juliet said stressing out. Juliet calm down, dont stress about me, I am a grown man after all. You just worry about staying healthy for the next 2 weeks. Justin said smoothly. Well prove it then, dont be late. Juliet said worried 10 minutes into Justins way he found a baby bird that had fallen from its nest and he was busy dying. He couldnt go any further and leave this poor thing alone to die. Justin picked the baby bird up into his muscled arms. Justin set the shivering little ul,e lightly feathered bird into his blue GAP jacket and put it carefully into his bicycle basket. He turned around and rode quickly back home. He silently sneaked into the house because he knew Juliet would freak out if she saw him there. He continued sneaking into the kitchen to feed the bird and to make it warm. Juliet ran in when she heard the door slam shut, she thought that the wind blew it openshe almost had a heart attack when she saw Justin there I the kitchen and not at work. Justin looked into her eyes in a way to say have mercy, but all he could see was a rush of emotions across her face from anger to irritation to worry.

What are you doing here? Juliet silently yelled. I am taking care of this bird. I found him on my way and just couldnt leave it there to die. Justin replied. Well ok, that sounds like a legitimate excuse. Now you just get to work and I will continue. 20 minutes after he had been home he stopped quite abruptly when he saw that the road had ended. He got off his bike and walked towards the big drop that he now saw. It was a huge drop, bigger than the perimeter of all countries put together! He thought fast and

saw the fence on the side of the road and the suddenly a light bulb went off in his head. He ran to the fence, using a sharp stick he cut a piece of the rope on the fence and tied one end to his waist and the other end to a really thick and old looking tree. When he finally got to the bottom he squinted his tired eyes to see the time on his wrist watch and saw that he 5 minutes to cycle a kilometre. 10 minutes later he walked into Bid Ds office very sweaty and out of breath. Big D beckoned him to have a seat behind his bird 1820 style desk. Bid D swivelled his big black leather chair, so that he was now facing Justins windblown hair and then looked into his blue eyes about to burst from exhaustion. You are 5 minutes late! What is your excuse this time. He said sarcastically. There was this baby bird (pant...pant!!) And it fell out of a tree and(pant..pant!!) It was busy dying so I quickly took it home to save its poor life. Justin quickly described starting to gain his breath back. Let me guess you named it too? Big D laughed maliciously. Ring! Ring! Im so sorry Bid D but it is my wife, I have to take this call.

Aaah! Did the poor bird die? No! Now it is no time for jokes. Juliet is going into labour. Please I have to go. Yeah sure, and Beyonc is my girlfriend. He laughed in a way that made you hate him the moment you saw him. Now, you listen to Mac-D or Big- D or whoever you think you ar , I am serious!! Now I dont care if you fire me because of this but my wife is having our first born child and what kind of father would I be if I missed this beautiful opportunity of birth. Huh! Big D what do say, do have some mercy in that old cold heart of yours
