Configuring NetGear DG834 v4 Router

1) Connect The Router To The Required Ports, Ethernet, DSL & Power.

2) Start The Modem.

3) Go To Internet Explorer & Type [http://192.168.0.1] (Without The Brackets) Put The Username as
“Admin” And Password as “Password” or “Admin” (Without The Quotes)

4) NET GEAR ADMIN ROUTER PANEL WILL COME

5) Select Your Country / Continent Name : Other

6) Check The Radio Button : No, I Will Configure It Myself

7) Click Next

8) Now The Basic Settings Panel Will Come, Put The Following Values As Told Below.

Does Your Internet Connection Require A Login? : Yes [BSNL Customers Should Click On Yes]

Encapsulation: PPPoE (PPP over Ethernet)

Login : Your BSNL Account Username & Password

Service Name : Put DataOne BroadBand

Idle Timeout : 0 [If You Want To Remain Always Connected]

Internet IP Address : Get Dynamically From ISP

Domain Name Server (DNS) : Put The Default

Primary DNS : 208.67.222.222
Secondary DNS : 208.67.220.220
[Don’t Click On Automatically Get From ISP]

NAT (Network Address Translation) : Enabled

9) Click Apply & Next

10) Now We Are In ADSL Settings, Put The Following Values As Told Below

Multiplexing Method : LLC-Based

VPI : 0

VCI : 35

DSL Mode : Auto (Multi-Mode)

11) Click Apply

Configuring Wired Internet Is Completed Here, Logout From The Admin Panel And Reboot The PC...

violating the laws of your country.]

Channel : 11

Mode : g & b

Enable Wireless Point : Checked

Allow Broadcast of Name (SSID) : Checked

Wireless Isolation: Not Checked

Wireless Station Access List : [This Is Been Recommanded To Use This, This Allpows the only PC’s
with listed MAC Address to be able to connect The WiFi]

Security Option : WPA-PSK (Wi-Fi Protected Access Pre-Shared Key)

Network Key (8 ~ 63 characters) : [Enter A Password For Your WiFi]

3) Apply
