Explorasi DNS Server

Dear all member indobacktrack, Saya ingin sedikit sharing mengenai explorasi DNS server . Explorasi disini lebih dimaksudkan untuk mengetahui beberapa record yang ada pada DNS. Silahkan baca terlebih dahulu pengertian DNS , bisa melaui wikipedia : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Domain_Name_System . salah satu fungsi dari DNS adalah mentranslasikan nama domain ke IP , atau sebaliknya dari IP ke nama domain . Hal ini dikarenakan tidak akan mungkin bisa mengingat satu persatu IP dari sebuah domain yang ada di internet. Dengan kata lain kita akan mudah untuk menyebutkan nama domain dibandingkan harus menyebutkan IP address nya . Setuju ? beberapa aplikasi / command pada BackTrack yang bisa digunakan untuk eksplorasi / analisis DNS seperti : host, nslookup, dan dig Berikut salah satu contoh dengan perintah nslookup terkait analisis DNS server : 1. Untuk mengetahui IP Address dari sebuah domain : Code:
root@bt:~# nslookup > fbi.gov Server: 10.11.8.9

Diperoleh hasil bahwa domain fbi.gov memiliki IP Address = 209.251.178.99 2. Untuk mengetahui NS dari sebuah domain : Code:
