2.7 DRIVE BELTS (34:18)

Each drive belt on the Turf Tiger is equipped with a spring

loaded idler tensioning system for optimum belt life and
ease of maintenance.

The belts should be checked for proper alignment and

wear after the first 2, 4, 8, and 10 hours of operation.
Thereafter, the belts should be checked every 40 hours of
operation or weekly, whichever comes first.

To verify proper operation of the spring-loaded idler

system, make sure that all idler arms move freely and are
applying tension to the belts. Verify that the pulleys are
in alignment with each other and turn freely. Also make
sure that the pulley grooves are free of debris build up.
