HONORS AND ACTIVITIES:

Infrared and Red Light, Water and Natural organics (Humic and Fulvic acids) are three building blocks used by Dr. Vasilenko in his inventions. Dr. Vasilenko has been a Research Associate of the Nobel Prize winnerAlexander PROKHOROV (Nobel Prize winner for fundamental works on quantum electronics in 1964) in a period of his work at General Physics Institute of Russian Academy of Science, Moscow from 1990 till 1998. He travelled a lot during this time and conducted much research as a visiting scientist at the following organisation: University of Leicester, Department of Botany., Grant of the Royal Society, the UK. England, United Kingdom, 1993 Centre de Cadarache, Department of Ecology. Grant of Ministry of Atomic Energy of France. St. Paul les Durance, France. 1994 Since 2005 Vladimir Vasilenko is working in his private business developing various products and technologies for organic agriculture and environment.

PATENTS and PATENT APPLICATIONS

Vasilenko. V. Method and Apparatus for Preserving Perishable Products. 2010. US Patent: 7,682, 641. B1.
Vasilenko. V. Method and Device for Disinfection and/or Purification of a Product. 2010. International Patent Application (PCT) WO 2010/122062 A1; National Phase of International Application PCT/EP2010/055276 (2011); Canadian Patent application- CA 2759138 (2011), European Patent Application No. 716814.8 (2011;

PRODUCTS and TECHNOLOGIES (Accomplished and ongoing projects):

1.) Vitabeam- new technology of storage of fresh produce and other perishable products based on application of near infrared and visible lights (Patent is granted). 2.) Seed enhancement technology with near infrared LED light. 3.) Application of infrared and visible LED light in organic plant breeding technology; 4.) Cold pasteurization of water and liquid food based on the usage of infrared light and ultrasonic treatments.

The invention Vitabeam which employs near infrared light (NIR) of ligh- emitting diodes (LED) in combination with other parts of the spectrum is related to process that maintains longer shelf of perishable products such as fresh produce and cut flowers. It is a gentle process of illumination of food in Supermarkets, Grocery Stores, Warehouse, Flower, and many like-type clients that retain higher levels of various nutrients, enzymes, and vitamins. Many special types of Vitabeam technologies are designed to ensure in optimal growth of plants in soil and soilless media.

Household refrigerators, coolers, kitchen drawers and dishwashers may be easily equipped with

Vitabeam light

Vitabeam - SONIC, new commercial system

1.

2.

Main features: Double Action System : combination of visible and Infrared lights with certain ranges of frequencies of Music tones; Effect of VitabeamSONIC on the plant cells, tissues and water increases the shelf life;

Infrared LED Seed Treatment machine: (LISTreM)

Dr. Vasilenko has designed a special seed treatment machine the

Infrared Seed Treatment machine (ISTreM) that can be easily used by

seed growers and farmers. One of the important part of this machine is a conveyor belt or a sloping grove. ISTer. is equipped with an infrared LED Panel or other type of light that is placed above the conveyor belt (or the grove).

Purification using the sunlight

Design for water purification unit, using the near infrared light of the sun without the need for other energy supply. The water flows through the tube and is bacterial safe water at the output.

Purification using the LED light

The water purification unit (prototype) that employs Infrared light and UV light of LED light. Water flows through the tube, get exposured with lights and, as the results, bacterial safe water is at the output.
