Maximum Approved Lives - Group A and Group B Parts

A. This section gives the maximum approved lives of Group A and Group B parts. Do not go past these approved lives. CAUTION: 1. it is possible for Group A and group b parts to go to their maximum approved lives between planned engine/module removals. it is the responsibility of the operator to make sure that the group a and the group b parts do not go past the maximum approved lives. the fan disc and the fan blades are common to various marks of the tay engine. the change of fan discs and/or blades between different marks of the tay is permissible. however, the remaining service life of a fan disc or blade will be the life related to the lowest declared disc life or recommended blade life on either engine mark. it is the operators responsibility to make sure that the life remaining, as recorded in the engine log book, is that related with the lowest life declared or recommended for either engine mark.

B. We give the Group A and the Group B part lives in terms of flight cycles. The lives are calculated on a datum flight profile. The definition of datum flight profile/flight cycle is given in TASK 70-01-10-000-000 (70-01-10, P.B.1). Recording and control of the lives of parts is in SP-TAY-1RR Standard Practice Manual, TASK 70-01-03-800-000 (70-01-03, P.B.1). C. Part numbers The part numbers are those which are spareable items. D. Provisioning The Group A parts lives in the list are preliminary. For the purposes of provisioning, all Group A parts have lives of 20,000 cycles. E.
