Focus questions on data collected Student misbehavior: Describe what happened in the first class.

What types of misbehavior did you observe? When did these happen? How did the teacher respond? What were the most effective strategies used? What were the least effective strategies? In the first class there were some students throwing a bottle of water on their friends in the front row. The teacher entered and looked for this scene in the front row in the face yelling at students. After that made them responsible for materials and cleanliness class through identification card attached to the shirt. She had least effective strategies, when Yelling at them demand.

Student involvement: Choose 2 children from your second observation and describe their level of involvement and deviancy. Was there a correlation (link or relationship) between involvement and behavior? I noticed the two students. The student was the first level of the average but his behavior was good but is characterized by seriousness to participate. And hates kinds of jokes. It is in much serious study. And also be alone, does not like to have a friendly relationship with the students. Unlike other student high level and excellent manners. Loves to identify and configure the relations of friendship and oh so many students.

Use your observations and readings to discuss the factors that can contribute to a childs misbehavior? There are three factors: biological factors including temperament
genetics, chemical imbalance, brain disorder and developmental disorder.

Psychological factors, including trauma, ineffective coping skills, psychological

disorders and low self-esteem.

Environmental factors, including diet/nutrition, poor role-models, exposure to

violence, ineffective parenting, median fluencies and peer pressure.

Use your observations and readings to discuss some effective strategies for dealing with misbehavior? (illness, egocentric, attention seeking, stubbornness, learning or behavioral problems, negative peer influence, strategies inappropriate for age/interests of students) First effective strategies stay clam: A calm teacher will deal more effectively with the problem and will encourage the child to stay calm too. Second effective strategies, If a child feels that the punishment is a personal attack, this is far more likely to create a confrontation. Make it clear that its the behavior, and not the child, that is being sanctioned. Keep the whole situation as depersonalized as possible.

What abilities, attitudes and traits do you think an ideal teacher should have? How can this influence the management and atmosphere of a class? A good teacher has several important qualities. He must have knowledge of subject, and have ability to explain. She should be patient with students. She should care about students, because every students personality is different. That will influence for students to encourage them, and like subject. Improve her level.
