The November 10, 1821 the first cry of independence was in the town of saints. event occurring against the colonial government of Spain . Many were the background that led to the deed -independence in which we can mention : The continued abuse of those in power, who were responsible for the economic plight of the Isthmus , due to the severe restrictions imposed by the Spanish led to a lamentable misery. The emergence of leaders like Simon Bolivar who were liberators in many countries of America. .The French Revolution. .The heroic participation of Rufina Alfaro. All these facts led us to the independence of Panama from Spain. For better control , understanding and learning of the subject students do a thorough investigation of the facts or events that led to the independent deed of November 10 , then to summarize and explain in class, then organize a round table and finally show all the knowledge acquired in a dramatization of the subject. These activities take the student to become aware of how important it is to fight for freedom and estimate its history. Always taking into account that enjoy freedom must be willing to fight and defend when necessary recognizing that in life there are always take challenges to an end .
