Experience
Macys, Inc. April 2013 - Present

I was hired on at Macys as a part of the Flex Support Team, which deals with all the behind the scenes operations on the sales floor. My duties include bringing new merchandise to the selling floor, setting the fixtures and displays, remerchandising old product to make room for the new, processing markdowns, setting signs for various sales, and assisting the managers in any other task they may need help with. My pay started as, and currently is, $8.00/hr. May 2008 Jan. 2013

Aeropostale

I started out at the end of my senior year of high school as a sales associate. Since then I have held many titles including Merchandise Flow Associate, Cash Wrap Specialist, Jeanius, Sales Lead, and Assistant Manager, which I left as when the store I worked at closed. Skills I have used and/or learned from Aeropostale include customer service practices, POS systems use, organization, delegation, cleaning, proper time management, business math, operations, merchandising, marketing, and management experience (2+ years). My pay started out at $7.50/hr and ended at a salary of $27,500 annually. Dec. 2010 Sept. 2011

Soccer Tots

I was a soccer coach and fitness instructor, teaching children ages 3 through 7 the game of soccer and proper fitness practices with and without their parents participation. My responsibilities, aside from coaching the kids and having fun, included following a set curriculum of games and activities, receiving payment from the parents and making sure payments were properly processed, and occasionally speaking with parents about their childrens behavior or development in class. I was paid $14/hr and $20/hr when filling in for another coach. April 2006 Dec. 2008

Wing Star

This was my first job after I turned 16 years old. The owner, Lee, hired me and taught me all the procedures for closing the restaurant so I could close by myself after my training. Essentially my duties were the same as that of a manager, tending to and taking orders from customers, running the register, cooking and preparing the food, and cleaning and closing the store at the end of the night. I was paid $7.25/hr starting out and I left making $7.75 an hour.

Education
John H. Guyer High School Aug. 2005 June 2008 I moved to Texas in the summer of 2004 and attended Billy Ryan High School my freshman year because Guyer was still in the process of being built. My sophomore through senior years were spent playing soccer on the Varsity team and maintaining a 3.75 GPA with select AP and Pre-AP classes. Upon graduating I received many letters from colleges such as USC, Michigan State, Texas, TCU, Baylor, and SNU. I was accepted to Baylor and SNU but decided to attend SNU to play soccer. I spent one year at SNU in Bethany, OK with an undecided major. I played soccer for the school and was a red shirt freshman. Classes that I attended were Composition I & II, Speech, Business Ethics, Calculus, and History. North Central Texas College July 2009 Present

After attending SNU for one year, I transferred to NCTC in Corinth, TX. My major changed from Business Administration to Mathematics and I eventually settled on Film Production as my major. I currently have 27+ credit hours and am planning on transferring to UNT in Denton, TX to attain my film degree in the future.

Skills
My skills include, but are not limited to, cooking, cleaning, superb organizational skills, basic and advanced math skills, well developed communication and customer service skills, reading, writing/typing (approx. 75+ WPM typing), creative writing and composition, POS systems experience, Microsoft Office experience (10+ years), business operations skills, merchandising and marketing skills. I also have a strong understanding of many forms of mathematics such as geometry, statistics, trigonometry, and calculus; various formats of writing and documentation; select historical time periods such as major world wars; basics of engineering and construction.
