11 USF All-Star Challenge The University of South Florida and Marine Corps Recruiting Command are hosting the AllStar Challenge Sunday, November 11 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the USF Track & Field Stadium. 12 USF students representing leaders in athletics, ROTC, student government, and Greek life will participate in trials including running, wall climbing, rope climbing and several surprises. Canvassing Recruiter Sergeant Tony Hernandez says the participants are outstanding. SOTFULL (Hernandez)--"We are looking forward to bringing together many talented individuals from USF for this competition. For students to have reached this level, they've had to demonstrate a high level of discipline, dedication and teamwork, the same things we look for from the men and women in the Marine Corps, so we think this is a good match here." The USF SunDolls and Rocky the Bull will also be at the event. T-shirt and concession sales expected to raise $10,000 will benefit the Tribute Scholarship Program for Children of Wounded Marines.
