COMPLETION REPORT OF (BV) CONDITION OF CLASS With reference to BV survey which was carried out on board Rig FD5

from 12.12.2011 to 30.01.2012 by surveyor Mr. Tansel Culcu and Mr. Zoran Rankovic the following recommendations were given. 1. Ballast tank 4S (010-016) (preload) C POOR corrosion was found in bottom longitudinal.
No.7 between Frame 14 and 15 No.8 between Frame 12 and 15 No.9 between Frame 13 and 15 Corrosion found in bottom plating between Fr 14 and Fr16 near lngtl outboard bulkhead

The following action taken to rectify it. Please see pictures below :1. Cropped up the corroded angles as shown in the above plan. 2. Replaced with new angles measuring 5 1/2 X 3 X 9.5 mm with lengths 7, 21 &14 Respectively , Grade 5S400, Mill s test certificate no. SG-1107-21 dated-01.07.2011 3. The welded angles were applied 2 coats of red oxide primer and finish top coat of storm grey. 4. Welding rod used ESAB 7018 to carry out the above welding job.
