1) Students will correctly identify the name, location, and capital of each of the fty states.! 2) Students will describe the relative climate and main geographic features of each of the six identied regions of the United States. !

1) Given a blank map of the USA with lines corresponding to each state, students will correctly identify states with 100 percent accuracy and capitals with 75 percent accuracy, in twenty minutes. ! 2) After completing reading and classroom discussion, given a blank piece of paper and oral instruction, each student will connect the climate and geographic features with the correct regions of the country, with 90 percent accuracy, in ten minutes.!
