Abortifacient:Prostaglandin analogues, such as misoprostol or gemeprost (both synthetic prostaglandin E1 (PGE1) analogues), are often used to terminate pregnancy up to 24 or 60 days of gestation, in combination with mifepristone (a progesterone receptor antagonist) or methotrexate (an antifolate). Misoprostol administered vaginally is more effective than when administered orally. Misoprostol is approved in France under the trade name GyMiso for use with mifepristone for medical abortion. Misoprostol is used offlabel with mifepristone for medical abortion in the U.S. Dinoprostone, given by the extra-amniotic route, can be used for late abortion (second trimester). Mifepristone is a progesterone receptor antagonist also known as RU-486. It is marketed under the trade name Mifegyne in France and countries other than the U.S., and under the trade name Mifeprex in the U.S. It is used in conjunction with a prostaglandin analogue. Misoprostol alone is sometimes used for self-induced abortion in Latin American countries where legal abortion is not available, and by some people in the United States who cannot afford a legal abortion. Cervical Ripening:-
To increase the success of inductions, many care providers are attempting to ripen the cervix prior to induction with Pitocin. Ripening refers to the softening of the cervix - a process that involves the cervix progressing from a firm and closed opening to a softened, effaced (thinned) and often dilated opening. Cervical ripening is achieved in part by the presence of a hormone called prostaglandin, specifically PGE2 which is produced by the cervix. The Bishop Score is used to assess the condition of the cervix in relationship to induction success.

Acidifiers
Gastric acid is a digestive fluid, formed in the stomach. It has a pH of 1-2 and is composed of hydrochloric acid (HCl) (around 0.5%, or 5000 parts per million) as high as 0.1 M,[1]and large quantities of potassium chloride (KCl) and sodium chloride (NaCl). The acid plays a key role in digestion of proteins, by activating digestive enzymes, and making ingested proteins unravel so that digestive enzymes break down the long chains of amino acids. Gastric acid is produced by cells lining the stomach, which are coupled to systems to increase acid production when needed. Other cells in the stomach produce bicarbonate, a base, to buffer the fluid, ensuring that it does not become too acidic. These cells also produce mucus, which forms a viscous physical barrier to prevent gastric acid from damaging the stomach. Cells in the beginning of the small intestine, or duodenum, further produce large amounts of bicarbonate to completely neutralize any gastric acid that passes further down into the digestive tract. Gastric acid is produced by parietal cells (also called oxyntic cells) in the stomach. Its secretion is a complex and relatively energetically expensive process. Parietal cells contain an extensive secretory network (called canaliculi) from which the gastric acid is secreted into the lumen of the stomach. These cells are part of epithelial fundic glands in the gastric mucosa. The pH of gastric acid is 1.5 to 3.5 [2] in the human stomach lumen, the acidity being maintained by the proton pump H+/K+ ATPase. The parietal cell releases bicarbonateinto the blood stream in the process, which causes a temporary rise of pH in the blood, known as alkaline tide.
The resulting highly acidic environment in the stomach lumen causes proteins from food to lose their characteristic folded structure (or denature). This exposes the protein's peptide bonds. The chief cells of the stomach secrete enzymes for protein breakdown (inactive pepsinogen and rennin). Hydrochloric acid activates pepsinogen into the enzyme pepsin, which then helps digestion by breaking the bonds linking amino acids, a process known as proteolysis. In addition, many microorganisms have their growth inhibited by such an acidic environment, which is helpful to prevent infection. Calcium250, 500mgTablet Potassium- Sodium Phosphate500mgTablet
Aldosterone Antagonists
An anti-mineralocorticoid, or an aldosterone antagonist, refers to a diuretic drug which antagonizes the action of aldosterone atmineralocorticoid receptors. This group of drugs is often used as adjunctive therapy, in combination with other drugs, for the management of chronic heart failure. Spironolactone, the first member of the class, is also used in the management of hyperaldosteronism (includingConn's syndrome) and female hirsutism. Eplerenone 25mg, 50mg Tablet

Amebicides
An amebicide (or amoebicide) is an agent used in the treatment of amoebozoa infections.[1][2] Among these agents are the following, linked to the infections they are used to treat: Although Naegleria is sometimes considered amoeboid, it is not closely related to the Amoebozoa (it is much more closely related to Trypanosoma), and agents used to treatNaegleria infections (such as Amphotericin B) are usually addressed separately.
gamma- (-) or delta- (-) amino acids; other categories relate to polarity, pH level, and side chain group type (aliphatic, acyclic, aromatic, containing hydroxyl or sulfur, etc.) In the form of proteins, amino acids [2] comprise the second largest component (afterwater) of human muscles, cells and other tissues. Outside proteins, amino acids perform critical roles in processes such asneurotransmitter transport and biosynthesis. Glutamine
Analeptics
An analeptic, in medicine, is a central nervous system stimulant medication. The term analeptic may also refer specifically to a respiratory analeptic (for example, doxapram), a drug that acts on the central nervous system to stimulate the breathing muscles, improving respiration.[1] Historically, the term has referred to "a restorative, or remedies proper to restore the body, when wasted or emaciated by disease or hunger Modafinil 100mg, 200mg Tablet Y50.0

Alzheimer's disease develops differently for every individual, there are many common symptoms Early symptoms are often mistakenly thought to be 'age-related' concerns, or manifestations of stress In the early stages, the most common symptom is difficulty in remembering recent events. When AD is suspected, the diagnosis is usually confirmed with tests that evaluate behaviour and thinking abilities, often followed by a brain scan if available, however, examination of brain tissue is required for a definitive diagnosis. As the disease advances, symptoms can include confusion, irritability, aggression, mood swings, trouble with language, and long-term memory loss. As the sufferer declines they often withdraw from family and society Gradually, bodily functions are lost, ultimately leading to death. Since the disease is different for each individual, predicting how it will affect the person is difficult. AD develops for an
unknown and variable amount of time before becoming fully apparent, and it can progress undiagnosed for years. On average, the life expectancy following diagnosis is approximately seven years Fewer than three percent of individuals live more than fourteen years after diagnosis. Anti- Asthmatics
Asthma (from the Greek , sthma, "panting") is a common chronic inflammatory disease of the airways characterized by variable and recurring symptoms, reversible airflow obstruction and bronchospasm Common symptoms include wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, and shortness of breath. Asthma is thought to be caused by a combination of genetic and environmental factors. Its diagnosis is usually based on the pattern of symptoms, response to therapy over time and spirometry. It is clinically classified according to the frequency of symptoms, forced expiratory volume in one second (FEV1), and peak expiratory flow rate Asthma may also be classified as atopic (extrinsic) or non-atopic (intrinsic) where atopy refers to a predisposition toward developing type 1 hypersensitivity reactions.

Antidiarrheals
a drug or dietary fiber-forming agent that relieves the symptoms of diarrhea. The most effective antidiarrheal drugs are opioid derivatives, which slow intestinal motility to permit greater time for the absorption of water and electrolytes. Dietary fiber-forming agents improve stool consistency but may not decrease fluid and electrolyte loss. Infectious diarrhea (for example, traveler's diarrhea) may require antibiotics if severe

of psychoactive compounds may be referred to as anxiotropic compounds. Some recreational drugs like alcoholic beverages (which contain ethanol) induce anxiolysis. Anxiolytic medications have been used for the treatment of anxiety and its related psychological and physical symptoms. Anxiolytics have been shown to be useful in the treatment of anxiety disorders. Beta-receptor blockers such as propranolol and oxprenolol, although not anxiolytics, can be used to combat the somatic symptoms of anxiety. Anxiolytics are also known as minor tranquilizers.[2] The term is less common in modern texts, and was originally derived from a dichotomy with major tranquilizers, also known as neuroleptics or antipsychotics Sedatives. allaying irritability, excitement, or nervousness. 2. an agent that does this. The usual mode of action is depression of the central nervous system, which tends to cause lassitude and reduced mental activity. Sedatives are distinct from TRANQUILIZERS, which also have a calming effect but unlike sedatives usually do not suppress bodily reactions. Sedatives may be classified according to the organ most affected, such as cardiac, gastric, and so on. Called also calmative. Hypnotics 1. of or resembling hypnosis or hypnotism. 2. inducing or like something that induces hypnosis. 3. susceptible to hypnotism. 4. inducing sleep. n. 5. an agent or drug that induces sleep; sedative. 6. a person who is hypnotized or susceptible to hypnosis.

Glucose Elevators
Glucose (/lukos/ or /-koz/; C6H12O6, also known as D-glucose, dextrose, or grape sugar) is a simple monosaccharide found in plants. It is one of the three dietary monosaccharides, along with fructose and galactose, that are absorbed directly into the bloodstream during digestion. An important carbohydrate in biology, cells use it as a secondary source of energy and a metabolic intermediate. Glucose is one of the main products of photosynthesis and fuels for cellular respiration. Glucose exists in several different molecular structures, but all of these structures can be divided into two families of mirror-images (stereoisomers). Only one set of these isomers exists in nature, those derived from the "particular chiral form" of glucose, denoted D-glucose, or D-glucose. Gout Therapy
Gout (also known as podagra when it involves the largest toe)[1] is a medical condition. People with gout often have more than one attack of gout. This is a red, tender, hot, swollen joint. The attacks happen most often in the joint at the base of the big toe. Inflammatory arthritis happens in about 50% of all cases of gout. The disease may also appear as tophi, kidney stones, or urate nephropathy (kidney disease due to urate crystals). Gout is caused when higher than normal levels of uric acid in the blood forms crystals. The crystals then stay in joints, tendons, and surrounding tissues. Mechanism of action
The mechanisms of action are not completely understood. Some scientists believe that anti-thyroids inhibit iodination of tyrosyl residues in thyroglobulin. It is thought that they inhibit the thyroperoxidase catalyzed oxidation reactions by acting as substrates for the postulated peroxidase-iodine complex, thus
competitively inhibiting the interaction with the amino acid tyrosine. Propylthiouracil additionally may reduce the de-iodination of T4 into T3 in peripheral tissues

Vasoactive Drug
A vasoactive is a pharmaceutical agent that has the effect of either increasing or decreasing blood pressure and/or heart rate. Typically used in a setting where a patient has the blood pressure and heart rate monitored constantly, vasoactive drug therapy is typically "titrated" to achieve a desired effect or range of values as determined by competent clinicians. Vasoactive drugs are typically administered using a volumetric infusion device (IV Pump). This category of drugs require close observation of the patient with near immediate intervention required by the clinicians in charge of the patient's care.

Vasodilators
Vasodilation (or vasodilatation) refers to the widening of blood vessels. It results from relaxation of smooth muscle cells within the vessel walls, in particular in the large veins, large arteries, and smaller arterioles. In essence, the process is the opposite of vasoconstriction, which is the narrowing of blood vessels. When blood vessels dilate, the flow of blood is increased due to a decrease in vascular resistance. Therefore, dilation of arterial blood vessels (mainly the arterioles) decreasesblood pressure. The
response may be intrinsic (due to local processes in the surrounding tissue) or extrinsic (due to hormones or the nervous system). In addition, the response may be localized to a specific organ (depending on the metabolic needs of a particular tissue, as during strenuous exercise), or it may be systemic (seen throughout the entiresystemic circulation).

Wax Emulsifiers
Emulsifying wax is created when a wax material (either a vegetable wax of some kind or a petroleumbased wax) is treated with a detergent (typically sodium dodecyl sulfate orpolysorbates) to cause it to make oil and water bind together into a smooth emulsion. It is a white waxy solid with a low fatty alcohol odor. The ingredients for Emulsifying Wax NF are: Cetearyl Alcohol, Polysorbate 60, PEG-150 Stearate, and
Steareth-20. It has the characteristics of cetyl alcohol combined with the viscosity building effect of stearyl alcohol as an effective thickener and helps form stable emulsions.
