Read the passage below and answer the question that follows.

Haze is the condition of the air densely polluted with minute particles. This
usually occurs during very dry weather when there is no rainfall for months. It is
caused by open burning as well as smoke being emitted from factories and motor
vehicles. Then the atmosphere will be hazy and one cannot see clearly.
Haze that continues on for a long period of time can bring health risks to
children and elderly people. People suffering from asthma, bronchitis and those
with respiratory and heart problems face even greater health risks. They will have
difficulty in breathing and may feel suffocated. Smokers and people working
outdoors most of the time are also likely to be affected by the haze.
In such situations, it is advisable to see a doctor if one’s health condition
worsens. If possible, remain indoors all the time. Do not go out and get exposed to
the haze unnecessarily. Drink lots of water as the dry weather may cause
dehydration.
