INTRODUCTION: Nutrition is a very important aspect today for everyone; it sustains life.

Nutrition is the process of eating the right kind of food so you can grow properly and be healthy, according to Merriam-Webster. After studying Health Science for a few years it has been noticed by many people that there is a problem with public health. The issue resides around nutrition, college students and the fact that they need more education that is geared towards healthy nutrition. Although some classes are offered on campus, are students receiving enough education on nutrition and do they know how to find eat healthy food proportions.

CONCLUSION In conclusion, it has become very obvious through reading the peer-reviewed articles, conducting the nutrition survey, speaking with students, and finding additional on-campus resources that there is a desperate need for more nutrition education experiences. There are many opportunities for students to gain knowledge about nutrition through a select few courses and through programs, but students need to feel that they need help with their own eating habits first. So, maybe in the future these programs and organizations will move forward and get their message out so students will feel the need to be informed. According to many articles, nutrition is what sustains life, and also according to many students if they are healthy and know where to find appropriate food, there will be less visits to the doctor, and better functionality in and out of the classroom
