Student Will:

How will you model/explain/demonstrate all knowledge/skills required of the objective? How will you address misunderstandings or common student errors? How will you check for understanding? How will you explain and model behavioral expectations?

What will students be doing to actively capture and process the new material? How will students be engaged?

I will address common student errors by providing them with rules of thumb to follow. I will also address it by asking them what makes sense when they say what they are writing out loud. Such as, do we say beautifulest or most beautiful? I will explain and demonstrate knowledge and skills required of the objective by explaining to them why we use certain forms in different types of sentences and having them do activities that help lead them to mastery of the objective.

They will be underlining, creating their own sentences, and categorizing words on the Smart Board interactively. Students will be engaged because I will call on them for different tasks and they will want to know the answer since they are having to actively make a selection in front of their peers.

Sub-Objective

I will check for understanding through the interactive lesson I am using to re-teach and by asking them questions throughout the lesson. I will explain that they need to pay attention and do their best because they are struggling with the concept and need to know it to their best ability before starting. The Technology Tools should:

Support the lesson objectives. Sustain students attention. Provide time for reflection. Are relevant to students lives. Induce student curiosity and suspense. Incorporate multimedia and technology. Incorporate resources beyond the school curriculum texts. Support the lesson objectives. Sustain students attention. Provide time for reflection. Are relevant to students lives. Closing/Student Reflection/Real-life connections:

How will students summarize and state the significance of what they learned? Why will students be engaged?

Students will summarize this by doing the corrections on the worksheet with which they needed the re-teach lesson for. Students will be engaged because they will want to be able to do daily 5 afterwards and get a better grade on the paper than they had before.
