O'BRIEN PRAISES $59.8 MILLION IN NEW DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL FUNDING
ROCHESTER, N.Y. Senator Ted O'Brien released the following statement regarding the Finger Lakes region receiving another $59.8 million from the latest round of state Regional Economic Development Council funding: "This funding represents a serious and significant commitment to our region by the state of New York. These funds will advance job training opportunities and help continue to grow our emerging high tech economy. I would like to thank the Governor and all of the hardworking members of our regional council for their efforts to promote growth and job creation for the people of Rochester and the Finger Lakes region."
