1. Explain and justify the need for a solution for a specified client/end user.

I want to make a animation that I can related to that can help someone with an interest of P.E or sports mostly basketball though. It will be a basketball practise that will show the audience up to 5 plays different plays. The animation will be performed as a .gif so that the user can watch it multiple times without having to restart it. The target group for my animation are generally people that play basketball but more boys than girls, around 13 to 16 years old. 2. Identify and prioritise the research needed to develop a solution to the problem. To develop the solution to this problem, the research needed was quite simple all I needed to do was to go to my U16 basketball practise where i learned two new plays that i will put in my animation. The basic needs/research was to know how to use the main left side toolbar and how to

3. Analyse a range of existing products that inspire a solution to the problem. .gifs
What inspires me to make animations are mostly .gifs I see on the internet. Like these ones for example.

Except my .gif wont be something taken out of a video game or only footage it will be something that I have put together myself.

This website lets you push parts of the diagram and you can change the parts of the face. I want to do an animation where when the part that is being shown at the time is done they can push a button to ignite the next step. I think they made this by taking pictures of peoples faces and cropped out parts of them then sorted them into categories by bodyparts and then when you click on the body part it changes the image so you can have multiple outcomes.

I liked this website because it showed me different types of things i can do in an animation like changing textures or change the way thing look with a button like a chain reaction.

4. Summarise the analysis of the findings from a range of sources related to the development of a possible solution, cited appropriately.
Pacman Animation
First I made a character Pacman by drawing him with the paintbrush and filling it in with the paint bucket. I also changed the background color to black and made it 600 by 600 pixels.

Then I moved my pac man a little bit and put the moved pacman into a new frame. As an end result I had my Pac-man moving around my screen.

Pacman Animation 2
First i made the background black and 600 x 600 pixels. Then i drew the Pac man and inserted a movement twen and made him move from one side to the other.

Then i rotated him by 90 degrees.

Then i made him move down

Then i rotated him to make him look to the left

and made him to do the same thing moving upwards. Then when i played the animation he was running around the screen.

Olympus ( about the gods of Olympus): this diagram explained the powers of five of the gods of Olympus, and what symbol represent them.

It is interactive because you can click on different things but it would have been better if they would have fixed some of their mistakes and made it more exciting looking.

When you click onto one of the characters, another image appears which tells you to choose a symbol that matches the god you chose.

Olympus diagram was ok, but they made a mistake with apollo and it was not very interesting or fun. Although it would teach someone who didnt already know what powers the gods have.

This diagram is explaining how to use the play. It isnt really interactive since it is just showing you how it works and youre not doing anything on it but watching and clicking pause and play. It pauses and plays when you want it to and responds to click on the main screen for instructions and the actual activity It is simple and clear on how the play goes and explains things in a way thats understandable but still teaches you some terminology and the play. Butterfly: The butterfly diagram shows the lifecycle of a butterfly although the main part is just looking at the show the quiz is interactive It responds to clicks and buttons and makes you drag things across the screen and everything responds. It is interactive because every time you click the next button it changes the stage of the lifecycle. At the end of the life cycle, there is a button which says quizzes. This is the most interactive part because you have to drag the icons of the lifecycle into the It is clear and easy to understand, it is effectively teaching the life cycle of a butterfly because it makes sure you learned something and remembered it by quizzing you afterwards. Weight Lifting: So this diagram is showing how a to lift a weight properly in a way that may prevent injury.

Responds the the movement of the mouse.

As you move your mouse up and down the screen the picture and explanation of the position changes

The weight lifting diagram was ok but it seemed a bit sexist

It reacts to clicks and the dragging of items across the screen. It was supposed to show how a light works and I think the people learning about the light for the first time would have actually learned something because there was enough information. The light PLease Diagram was actually pretty good. It had good information about how to build a light bulb and how they work. The activity 1 and 2 were fun and I think people were able to learn about that. I d o n t k n o w a n y p r o g r a m s t h a t w o u l d h e l p c

I think it is pretty helpful to see what happens but I think there should have been a bit more information because if I did not know anything about volcanos it would have not helped that much. It was very interactive because after the activity one there was another activity where you could basically build a light bulb from the inside. The volcano game was ok. I think it would have been better if the volcano did not erupt until you actually pressed the top button because every time I just wanted to see the lava at the bottom it would just erupt over and over again. This game was kind of interactive because you got to click on the piano keys and it would make sound. It was good but maybe they should have did something a bit more so This game was ok. It did help but sometimes the piano seemed to freeze and if you clicked on the note, nothing would happen until a couple seconds I d o n t k n o w a

Country Game: this diagram explains about some of the countries in the world

Responds to clicks.

This game was kind of interactive because you had to click on the different buttons for the countries to pop up and they had good information but I think they could have put a bit more information. It was easy to use.

The country game was good and I learned a bit of information from the countries they put on there. It was really neat and very colorful.
