division at Rietvlei LIBRARIAN (4 Months Contract) (K-HAY BAND) OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY To facilitate the smooth running of the Rand Water library by providing an information service through issuing, receiving and shelving library items as well as maintaining associated records. PRIMARY DUTIES General library-related operations, such as classification, indexing and shelving of library material and retrieval and supplying of information JOB REQUIREMENTS A recognised library-related qualification To be fully acquainted with existing trends in the corporate library environment To be able to prioritize the various tasks that need to be performed To be able to work independently, yet with technical skills and competence To ensure that the physical library environment is conducive to research and knowledge sharing COMPETENCY PROFILE SKILLS
