SwoPEc papers
When you want to publish a paper in the SWoPEc database (Swedish Working Papers in Economics), this is what you should do: 1. If you are a PhD candidate - get an OK from your advisor. Then contact Professor Bo Sandelin who will take the final decision. If you hold a PhD degree, you may decide yourself if you want your paper to be published there. 2. When your advisor and Prof. Sandelin have sanctioned the publication, ask Eva-Lena Neth (eva-lena.neth@economics.gu.se) for a serial number. 3. Merge your paper with a title page including title, serial number, author, date and ISSN numbers (the ISSN is always the same). Download a model page here. The paper must also include an abstract with keywords and JEL-codes. Convert the file to pdf. 4. Send the file to Eva-Lena and to jens.annmark@ub.gu.se at the University Library. Eva-Lena will make 7 copies of the paper with a plastic cover and send it to the Royal Library in Stockholm and to six university libraries (so called duty copies) and Hanna will get it published in the database. 5. One copy will be filed at the department (by Eva-Lena/Marie-Louise). 6. When the paper has been published in SWoPEc, it will be confirmed by an automatic e-mail message to you. You can find the paper at http://swopec.hhs.se/series.htm where you find two series from our department, one for papers in Economics and another for papers in Statistics. 7. If your paper is already published elsewhere or if it is later on - in a journal or book, e.g. - please contact Jens Annmark and inform him. He will enter the information in SWoPEc. 8. If you wish to update your paper later on, do so and send the new version to Jens.Annmark@ub.gu.se . Don't send the new version to Eva-Lena. (Updated 2008-04-22)
