1. Describe the assignment, i.e. difference in phonological representation (lexeme) of learners of EFL. 2. Why the assignment is important for phonology study in the light of new paradigm in world-English phonology? 3. Describe the distinctive feature(s) of the lexeme by isolating the distinctive feature (if you have more than one distinctive features then describe each of them or you can choose to do just one. 4. Describe the distinctive feature(s) by using Phonetics book to name the sound. 5. Describe the distinctive feature(s) by using dictionary transcription to display the phones/allophones. 6. Describe the distinctive feature(s) by using minimal pairs or other words having the same phone(s)/allophone(s). 7. COMMENT 1: Which gap does your data represent?
