    Here, Let me explain why there is necessary to remove an harmonics from output of inverter.

    Let the two sine wave one has a f=50Hz & other has an f=150Hz (3rd order harmonics).The output of inverter is Sine wave shape. For that we simulate following ckt in MATLAB.

    After Simulation we got an below waveforms.

    First Waveforms will shows an sine wave with f=50Hz. Second will shows an Harmonics Waveforms f=150Hz. Third Will shows an Combination Of That First & Second In One Window. Fourth Will shows An Final Waveforms of output of inverter which has an sine+3rd order harmonics. From Second & fourth waveforms we can understand that there will be reduction of output of inverter with harmonics & without Harmonics. The waveforms two has more magnitude compare to fourth.
