T his week, AdEx India looks at Ads Spends by PSU Banks in Television for
Corporate Image. Here, the analysis is based on 8 prominent Public Sector
Undertakings (PSU's) specified above. First, let's have a look at the trend of Corporate
Image led advertising by PSU Banks on Television across the years 2000-2003.
Here, advertising on corporate image shows inconsistent behavior on Television across
the years 2000-2003.

Now, let's look at the Corporate Image advertising in the first half of year 2004
compared to the first half of year 2003.
Here, the graph shows a growth of 324% in the first half of year 2004 compared to
the first half of year 2003.

Now, let's look at the Advertisers who dominated Corporate Image advertising in
Public Sector Undertaking Banks on Television in the year 2004.
The graph shows that SBI (State Bank of India) rules the corporate image advertising
in Public Sector Undertaking Banks with nearly 77% of advertising on Television in the
first half of year 2004 whereas year 2003 was ruled by Punjab National Bank in this
category.

Lastly, let's have a look at the program genres preferred by the visible PSU Banks in
the first half of year 2004.
