Introduction
The marginal/small field with limited reserve usually is the one that has not been developed yet. The economic feasibility of the marginal field required an accurate reserve calculation The accurate prediction of the reservoir properties is the key for the reserve calculation

Introduction conts

Different rock properties lead to different capacity storage. Classified the reservoir into several rocktype will increase the accuracy of the rock properties prediction across the field. Several method has been used worldwide but there is no comparion between those method especially in the environment of the subject research

Objective
To investigate the best technique of the rock type/electrofacies of the reservoir in lower coastal plane environment to get the most accurate reservoir properties prediction. To developed the method to estimate the accurate reserve of the field to decide whether this field is economic to develop.

Scope
Two type of Data:
Raw data Report form third party

Core data including RCA, SCAL, other reports Wireline and LWD data Pressure data Mud logging Production/ well test data

Methodology
Well Log Interpretation

Core Litho Facies

Electrofacies Prediction

Permeability Saturation prediction

End

Poro-perm relationship Rock Typing Capillary pressure

No

Methodology
Current rock typing method

RQI FZI Simple Porosity cutoff R35

Raw Data Interpreted Data Simple cutoff Regression Neural network

Electrofacies prediction using well log data

Expected Result
1. The rock typing method which give best prediction for permeability and saturation 2. The electrofacies prediction method which give best prediction of rock type and finally give the better permeability and saturation

Possible Problem
Possible of the data could not be used due to low quality Possible increasing in cost for additional measurement or processing Possible of difficulty to have approval from the company and authority
