Focus questions on data collected Student misbehaviour: Describe what happened in the first class.

What types of misbehaviour did you observe? When did these happen? How did the teacher respond? What were the most effective strategies used? What were the least effective strategies? At the beginning of the class the students were quite and they get attention to their teacher. Then, in the middle of the class they start to get noisy they talked to each other, some of them they stand up and start moved in the class maybe. This thing happens when the class was bored and they dont have any activity to do it. The teacher start called them in their name then she count from one to five to stop them. The most effective strategies that teacher used is clips strategy because as I saw that the students was quite and they dont do any bad behave because they get afraid of her. On the other hand, the least effective strategies was ignore the students this strategy cannot stop the students because these students maybe become accustomed of this strategy. Student involvement: Choose 2 children from your second observation and describe their level of involvement and deviancy. Was there a correlation (link or relationship) between involvement and behaviour. From my observing of these two students I saw that the first student was an excellent grade but her behave effect in her participant and her relationship because in some class I saw her play and dont listen to the teacher but when the teacher ask her some question she answer it correctly. The other student was very has a bad behave because she ignore the teacher and never listen to her and when the teacher ask her any question she dont answer it, the teacher gets angry from her and she called her parents to know what is the problem with this girl. Use your observations and readings to discuss the factors that can contribute to a childs misbehaviour? As I saw, the students who have a misbehavior that cause because they have a low grade and they dont communicate with other students and share their information. Also, some of them they have a bad relationship and their parents are divorced.

Use your observations and readings to discuss some effective strategies for dealing with misbehaviour? (illness, egocentric, attention seeking, stubbornness, learning or behavioural problems, negative peer influence, strategies inappropriate for age/interests of students) The teacher has a good ways to deal with the students like, she talks with them individually and I a nice way. Also, she encourages them by telling them a good word and gives them a present if they do a good thing and listen to her advice. On the other hand, Sometime if they dont respect her and dont listen to her she deals with their parents to know what is a problem with them. What abilities, attitudes and traits do you think an ideal teacher should have? How can this influence the management and atmosphere of a class? Teachers should have a high personality and high authority in the classroom to control the students in the classroom. Also, the teacher should be flexible when she deals with students and be kind with them because these things can help the students and communicates with their teacher if they needs help to make a good relationship with students. In addition, teachers should know their students type of learning style to know what is the activities should do in class to make her lesson interesting and joyful.
