The quality of your recording won't factor into your evaluation. The tempo of your performance is not important, as long as you play in even time. An assignment played very slowly but in even time with a metronome will benefit you more than an assignment played quickly but with mistakes and varying tempos, slowing for difficult parts and speeding up for easier parts. You won't be penalized for a mistake if you make a quick recovery and the tempo is consistent. Your assignment will be judged on accuracy and clarity of playing.
