,he +H=P 7%%; is accommodated in a standard J-,71 cabinet K sub# rac9L. Aoth the cabinet and sub#rac9 unit are designed in the principle of Jfront#facing installation and maintenanceL. ,his helps in saving equipment room space and allowing for bac9#to#bac9 installation* front#facing operation and maintenance.

,he +,- trademar9 is printed at the top#left of the +H=P 7%%;. ,he equipment nameplate with JCnitrans +H7=L is printed in white on a blue bac9ground at the right top of the front door. 0t the bottom and top of the cabinet* measures have been ta9en to avoid rodents. ,he cabinet is 6;; mm wide* %;; mm deep and available with three heights: $;;; mm* $$;; mm and $6;; mm. 0t the cabinet top* the front and bac9 doors are provided with ventilation holes. $= cables ( fibers* cable clips and fiber trays are installed at the two sides of the cabinet. ,he position and number of cable clips and fiber trays shall comply with requirements of the entire equipment configuration. ,he cabinet structure and configuration of the +H=P 7%%; are shown in Bigure :.

,he +H=P 7%%; can be rac9#mounted* des9#topped or wall#mounted equipment. ,his manual only describes the first case. ,he +H=P 7%%; is divided into cabinets with three specifications of $;;; mm* $$;; mm and $6;; mm. ,he overall configurations are shown in Bigure $. ,he layouts of all the three#type cabinets are similar to one another. ,he equipment has three elements* namely* sub#rac9* cabinet and power distribution sub#rac9. .omponents: 0larm door: ,he top of +H=P 7%%; cabinet has an alarm door* on which an alarm plate with an indicator and an alarm bu33er is installed* for indicating the wor9ing status of the in#cabinet equipment. .able outlet: ,he bottom and top parts of the cabinet are designed with cable outlets* on which there are small movable doors to ensure that the cabinet is closed after cabling. ,he user can select either top routing or bottom routing according to the requirement. .abinet cabling area: ,he cabling area is close to the side door inside the cabinet. ,he cabling area has a door that can be opened or removed. ,here is also a cable fixing board* on which cabling clips can be installed for the proper cabling of $= cables. ,he number of cabling clips can be altered according to requirement. 1n the middle of the inner frame in the cabinet cabling area* there are ringing interception switch* ringing interception button and anti#static wrist strap 6ac9. 1nstallation holes: Aoth the top and bottom of the cabinet are designed with installation holes to fix the cabinet top* side#by#side cabinets* bac9#to#bac9 cabinets and cabinet bottom. 8eat dissipation holes: ,o achieve superior heat dissipation performance* there are heat dissipation holes on the front and rear doors as well as the top and bottom of each +H=P 7%%; equipment cabinet.

-ach sub#rac9 is :?#inch high with dimensions being @@%.! mm (8igh G@8$.6 mm (4ide G$!; mm ()eep * as shown in Bigure !. 0 sub#rac9 is composed of side panels* beams and metal guide rails. 1t alone has such functions as heat dissipation* shielding* and dust#proofing. 0t the bottom of the sub#rac9* there is a fan sub#rac9 with three independent fan modules* all of which are connected to the fan motherboard. /n the upper part of the sub#rac9* there is a decorative removable door for the purposes of decoration* ventilation and shielding.

Board area: ,he board area of the sub#rac9 is of dual structure to plug in boards of the +H=P 7%%;. @. %an sub-rack: Docated on the bottom of the sub#rac9* it provides forced air cooling for the equipment for heat dissipation. ". +ust-proo" unit: Docated at the bottom of the sub#rac9* the dust# proof unit can 9eep the cabinetMs inside clean* so preventing dust from affecting the sub#rac9Ms heat dissipation performance. ,he +H=P 7%%; sub#rac9 is equipped with mounting lugs (one on each side that are used to secure the sub#rac9 in the equipment cabinet. ,he installation staff can face the front of the cabinet to secure the sub#rac9. ,he cabinet and sub#rac9s support front#facing installation ( maintenance and the cabinet can be placed with a wall or with another cabinet.

7ecured in the sub#rac9* the motherboard of the +H=P 7%%; is the carrier for connecting various boards. ,he motherboard consists of the upper and

Bunctional interface boards are connected to the upper part while functional boards are connected to the lower one. ,here are four buses on the motherboard: service bus* overhead bus* cloc9 bus and board#in#position bus. ,he motherboard connects the boards and equipment with external signals through the interfaces and board connectors on it. ,he payload service* auxiliary service* intra# communication and cloc9 buses are arranged in order to ensure that various interface boards can be added as required by the user. ,he dimensions of the motherboard are @%$ mmG (length (width G @ mm (height . ,in straps serving as grounding cables are laid out where the frontEbac9 panel of the motherboard is connected with the sub#rac9 to secure the connection between the motherboard and the sub#rac9.

,he sub#rac9 board area of the +H=P 7%%; consists of the upper layer and lower layer. Bunctional interface boards are on the upper layer while functional boards are on the lower layer* with :! slots spaced at an interval of $".@ mm on each layer.

,he structure of the fan sub#rac9 of +H=P 7%%; is illustrated in Bigure 8. ,he fan sub#rac9 accommodates % independent fan modules. ,he structure of the fan module is shown in Bigure ?. -ach fan module box is connected to the motherboard through the soc9et behind it. 1t has the independent loc9ing function* with running indicators and alarm indicators on its front panel.
