SUBJECT REQUEST TO KINDLY ISSUE ORDERS TO THE VICE CHANCELLOR OF MEHRAN UNIVERISTY OF ENGINEERING & TECHONOLOGY JAMSHORO TO FOLLOW THE REGULATIONS FOR TERM SYSTEM FOR FIRST YEAR B.E EXAMINATION IN ORDER TO PROVIDE JUSTICE TO 350 STUDENTS. With profound respect, it is submitted that I along-with other candidates were admitted in Mehran University of Engineering & Technology, Jamshoro, for the Academic Session 2012-13 in B.E. As per prospectus for the Academic Session 2012-13 A candidate having passed all the Heads of 1st and 2nd Term of 1st to Final year B.E with a minimum 40% in Theory and 50% in Practical shall be declared Pass. However, despite of securing more than 40% marks in theory, most of the students have been declared fail in First Year Examination on the pretext that the regulations for term system has been changed during the said academic year and now the required passing score/marks are minimum 50% in theory which is injustice to poor students. It is further submitted that we have not been provided even a chance to improve our score and our precious one year will be wasted which is clear violation of fair play and natural justice. It is requested to kindly issue orders to the university administration to follow the regulations for term system as they have mention in their admission prospectus for 2012 2013 in-order to save our precious time and career as 350 students have been affected due to sudden change in rules/policy. For this act of Justice we shall ever remain thankful to you.
