ANTI-SLEEP ALARM FOR STUDENTS


ABSTRACT
This circuit saves both time and electricity for students. It helps to prevent them from do in! off while studyin!" by soundin! a beep at a fi#ed time interval" say" $% minutes. If the student is awa&e durin! the beep" he can reset the circuit to beep in the ne#t $% minutes. If the timer is not reset durin! this time" it means the student is in deep sleep or not in the room. If the student is not in the room the circuit switches off the li!ht and fan in the room" thus preventin! the wasta!e of electricity. If the student is in the room and is in deep sleep" the circuit switches off the li!ht only. The main aim of this pro'ect is to desi!n a system by which students can study and at the same time the ener!y is saved if they do e off in between. The circuit uses a microcontroller as its main component. The microcontroller can be (%)*+or ), families-. The other components are a &eypad" reset switch" PIR sensor" alarm" a display" load driver. The PIR sensor is used to detect the presence of the student in the room. The load driver uses two relay spots +./*-.
