Objective:Reading & measuring the resistors with colour codes & multimeter.

Material Required:Resistors, Multimeter.

Theory:Resistance:Opposition to flow of electric current is known as resistance.

From Ohm's Law:-

Resistor:An electrical device that resist the flow of electric current in a circuit is resistor.

Procedure: First I checked whether the resistor is three or four band the resistor was four band. From left to right it's first band give me the first digit or the unit digit of resistance value. Second band the tenth digit of resistance value. Third band gave the power of ten or number of zero's.

Fourth band gave the tolerance value. By connecting resistor with multimeter I measured it s value.

Tolerance values: silver =5% , Gold =10% , No colour= 20%.

Conclusion:-

I conclude that resistor value be find theoretically & by

multimeter. Resistors do not have exact value its value vary from lower to upper value due to tolerance.
