I am sure in her own classroom, with her own time frame, she would be able to adapt assessments to student needs, as well as make adjustments/re-teach and modify accordingly. Professionalism 1. University Coordinator's Name: Tom Popiel Final Grade: Credit Comments: Alison Timinski has just completed a very successful 16 week Student Teaching Placement with Cooperating Teacher, Melissa Young in a 1st grade classroom at Chandler Woods Academy in Belmont, MI. It was evident that Alison was always well prepared to teach each subject. She used a wide variety of resources and strategies to achieve the desired results. Her direct instruction was thorough, thoughtful

and animated. Alison made learning enjoyable for her students. She was genuinely pleased with her students' successes and constantly encouraged them when they struggled. Alison conferred and collaborated with Mrs. Young to make sure she had the most accurate perspective when preparing her lessons. This was a rewarding placement for Alison. She benefitted greatly from having a Master Teacher like Melissa Young as her mentor. Alison also submitted all her assignments and attended all scheduled Seminars and, as a result, successfully completed her Student Teaching requirements.
